We are delighted to announce our first WeddingWire Blog feature! WeddingWire.com is a fantastic, user-friendly resource for brides-to-be and vendors alike. We’ve been a part of the WeddingWire family nearly since the beginning and have nothing but great things to say about them! Their blog editor, Jeffra, has an extraordinary eye and does a wonderful job creating inspiration boards and picking real weddings to help brides create their ideal look. I’ve been combing her posts myself, looking for great ideas and references for my best friend’s wedding in California next April!
Enjoy the feature! Congratulations again to Jenn & Jason.

Megan & Billy - Engagement shoot with The Photographix!
I just get SO excited when I'm able to see (and help!) the clients get the right photographers - it makes such a huge difference in the overall experience of your engagement and wedding.

When Megan and Billy first came to meet with me and we talked about photography, she already knew she was in love with The Photographix work and I knew they were going to love Jen and Ann as soon as they met! I emailed the girls to make sure they were free for the big day in October, and the rest is history!
It's such a treat to see Megan and Billy so excited about their photographers and Jen and Ann so excited about their clients - smiles all around!
Here's a sneak peek, but make sure you visit The Photographix's blog to see more!

"Hello to all our blog readers!Photographix has decided to try something new to get you more involved with us! We love all the feed back, comments and, well, the overall interaction that our previous clients, new clients and blog reader friends share with us, so to show our appreciation we would like to give back something to you...We might do this monthly or every other month depending on how many of you guys participate :) So we would like to do a little contest...different themes everytime and this is how it is going to work. We ask you to submit an image...story...whatever, then we will post them on our blog to share with others. Photographix doesn't want to have to pick winners so we have decided to let our Photographix "peeps" do that...yes, that's right, you fellow blog readers get to vote by leaving comments on your favorite pick! We really think this will be lots of fun for everyone and the great thing is anyone can submit to them. So get involved with us and let us know what you think!First submission: Submit an image showing "LOVE" between couples...be creative! And no distasteful images please :) Up for grabs: Free couples shoot session (that's right, sitting fees waived). Can be as relaxed as you want or you can dress back up in your wedding attire...you choose!

A Suprise Birthday Party at CJ's Off the Square
Horray for Birthdays!

Who doesn't like suprises? I know some people say they don't, but when the suprise involves amazing food by Constant Craving Catering, Gigi's Cupcakes and CJ's Off the Square, I think they might change thier minds.

One of my good friends and former neighbors, Jen Cook (of the photography duo The Photographix) recently planned a suprise birthday party for her mom's 60th...and it was full of suprises! Mom had no idea about what was in store for her when a Rolls Royce pulled into her driveway and escorted her to CJ's Off the Square, when Jen and her sisters had an elaborate dinner party waiting for her. Friends and family from all over the country were in attendance and as you can see from the look on her face, mom was floored!

The girls even wrote, directed and filmed a pupet show for thier mom based on her life story. Talk about creative!
