Do you ever wonder what the average wedding in Nashville costs? According to research company "The Wedding Report," Nashvillians are spending just above the national average. In 2008, the national average for a wedding in the US was $20,398 (range given was between $15,000 and $25,000).

In Nashville, the average cost of a wedding was between $18,000 and $30,000 for the same year. Interestingly enough, couples that live in Brentwood & Franklin spent about 25% more than Nashvillians with an average range of $24,500 and $40,800 for their wedding.

This does not include cost for a honeymoon or engagement ring.

With complete wedding packages for up to 135 guests ranging from $4950 - $11,950 at CJ's Off the Square, our clients can still have the elegance and style of a designer wedding without spending a fortune. To learn more about our new wedding & event packages, email Amy at amy@cjsoffthesquare.com or give us a call at (615) 216-7576.
A big thank you to Jack Menard at Silent Light Images for these pics from our Open House last week at CJ's Off the Square. Thanks again to all who participated and all who came to make our event such a success. It was a great way to close out the this year's event season and will give us lots of warm memories during the chilly winter months ahead.

We can't say enough about what a fantastic success last night's Open House was! Thanks to all our clients for coming and dreaming up their weddings, our potential clients considering CJ's for their big day, and of course all our wonderful vendor friends for their contributions and support! I'd put our wedding vendor community up against any city in the country, no doubt!

Please enjoy these early pictures from Shannon Jenkins Photography, and a big thanks to her for sharing them with us! More to come from her and our other photography friends who were so kind to come and shoot.

Congratulations to our door prize winners from our open house last night:

Emily Lensie - Dinner for 2 and 1 night stay at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs
Shakela Milledge - $50 Gift Certificate to the Williamson County Weddings Boutique
Theresa McCloy - Engagement Session with Hartz Photographic

Thank you to all of our sponsors who provided the door prizes and to everyone who attended. We had so much fun meeting so many new people and getting the chance to hang out with our current clients and vendors. We are so excited about our new event pavilion and the feedback from everyone has been so positive -thank you!

Pictures coming soon...
We are so, so, so excited for our Open House here at CJ's Off the Square tonight from 5 to 8pm. We're already expecting 150 guests or more throughout the evening and the list is growing as the day goes on!

We have so many new style ideas showcased tonight that have NEVER been seen here before, including (but not limited to!) new Menu Items, new Lighting Design (can you say romantic string lights in our fabulous Garden?), new Invitation lines, new Cake flavors, and most importantly, a gorgeous artist rendering of our much-anticipated new Pavilion, opening April 2010!

We hope you're able to join us - the event is FREE but you must register here: http://www.cjsoffthesquare.com/registration.html. Those registered will be entered to win a FREE Engagement Session with Hartz Photographic or a FREE dinner and accommodations at the Cool Springs Marriott!
It is my pleasure to announce that Joel and Michelle of Hartz Photographic will be giving away a free engagement session at our open house this Thursday, October 29th from 5-8 pm.

If you haven't put Hartz Photographic on your list of wedding photographers to consider, you really should. They are fairly new to the wedding scene here in Nashville, but have serious skills and have been training and studying with some of Nashville's premiere photographers to give their clients a truly fresh and creative perspective.

In order to win this free session, you must RSVP and attend our open house. Jump on over to the RSVP page to let us know you are coming. We look forward to seeing you there!  --CJ
