Passionate about Purple Paper

PURPLE is quite popular right now and rarely goes out of style! Skim through this year’s invitations lines and you will see a trend of purple floating about. Among the top shades are raisin, plum and eggplant – kind of makes me hungry! A palette of purples can be both easy on the eyes and eye catching. The light tones of lavender and rose offer simply stylish sophistication. Pair purple with a shimmery gold or crisp black for a sure fire look your guests will love.

The Knot says going bold with "papers in fabulously rich purple hues with white lettering" is the way to go this year. Invitation Crush thinks purple never really goes out of style and finds many to be "drawn to the rich hue in 2011. Soft lavender and thistle look beautiful in one-color letterpress designs, and bolder shades are attention getting on their own or paired with the aforementioned gray, as well as navy blue." Carlson Craft, one of our favorite invitations lines, is even showcasing "raisin" colored invitations due to popular request.

It’s easy to turn purple into a contemporary look or keep it classic. Check out some of the samples from our designer invitation collections. No matter how you use purple, you can’t go wrong! To schedule an appointment with our design experts, call (615) 465-8099.
