Graphic Design Details In Action

As I was organizing our photo archive this morning, I came across this great example of incorporating a graphic design element throughout the look of an event without ever giving the feel of being cliche. Take a look a this beautiful wedding invitation we created for our client Jill. She loved the damask detailing and we used this in not only her table linens, but also the wedding cake, menu cards and napkins.

Many brides focus the look of their wedding on a single color, or maybe a primary color and one or two accent colors. But using a unique graphic element can also accomplish a cohesive look without being as obvious.

Using this damask pattern in the details, the look of the wedding felt simple but elegant. The color palette of red and black looked stunning and allowed the graphic detailing to add subtle style instead of overwhelming impact.
