CJ's Fall 2009 Open House Pictures!

We can't say enough about what a fantastic success last night's Open House was! Thanks to all our clients for coming and dreaming up their weddings, our potential clients considering CJ's for their big day, and of course all our wonderful vendor friends for their contributions and support! I'd put our wedding vendor community up against any city in the country, no doubt!

Grand Open House at CJ's Off the Square TONIGHT!

We are so, so, so excited for our Open House here at CJ's Off the Square tonight from 5 to 8pm. We're already expecting 150 guests or more throughout the evening and the list is growing as the day goes on!

We have so many new style ideas showcased tonight that have NEVER been seen here before, including (but not limited to!) new Menu Items, new Lighting Design (can you say romantic string lights in our fabulous Garden?), new Invitation lines, new Cake flavors, and most importantly, a gorgeous artist rendering of our much-anticipated new Pavilion, opening April 2010!

Awesome First Dance Song

Just a quick post tonight to give props to Andy & Robin who chose Citizen Cope's "Sideways" as thier first dance song at thier wedding yesterday at CJ's Off the Square. Whoa...totally caught me off guard and blew my mind!!! Check it out if you haven't heard it yet...so good! This one is definately going on our top 10 list for 2009.       --CJ

Invitation of the Week

This beautiful design features a customize monogram on rich aubergine paper with silver ink. I am seeing a lot of purple in wedding design these days and I have to say that I love it! It goes with any season and can works well with both traditional and more contemporary reception spaces. --CJ

Real Wedding - Tricia & Dominic, September 19

We played hide and seek with the rain this day for quite awhile, but the weather worked in our favor and Tricia & Dom were able to a have a beautiful sunset ceremony in the Garden, followed by a very fun and elegant reception in the Pavilion. She chose a color scheme of creams, dark browns, and natural greens, which is always a great look here - matches our feel perfectly!

The Enchanted Florist did a great job enhancing the natural look with the great iron table top trees and the string lights from Nashville Event Lighting added a warm feel. Jason Middleton from Middleton Entertainment kept the party rolling and Jay from Maples Weddings Cakes created a beautiful cake - the piping color was inspired by his morning cup of coffee! A Catered Affair presented a delicious dinner buffett from our house menus and VIP Bartending manned the spirits.

Meghann & Jesse - Teaser Trailer!

Make sure you head over to 2Duce2's blog to watch the teaser trailer for Meghann & Jesse's wedding last Saturday, October 17 at The Governor's Club in Brentwood. The weather pushed us inside, but with luxurious draping by Visual Elements and dramatic lighting by Nashville Event Lighting, it was lush and intimate and just spectacular!

Real Wedding - Denise & Ryan, September 5

We had a beautiful Labor Day weekend wedding reception with Denise & Ryan on September 5. The weather was fantastic and their guests enjoyed southern delights from Monell's catering under a canopy of white and green paper lanterns from Nashville Event Lighting. Denise incorporated her heritage in many ways, including sarong runners, a uniquely designed cake, and hundreds of paper cranes she folded herself!
